Feeding Program at Purok Paradise, Brgy. Tambler

BARANGAY TAMBLER, PUROK PARADISE, General Santos City (May 07,2011)

The Office of the City Vice Mayor in partnership with RCR Foundation (Ronnel C. Rivera Foundation) conducted a Nutritional Feeding Program for the children of Purok Paradise. A total of 500 children participated in the said activity including the parents. A short program was also conducted to induct the new set of officers for the newly formed SAMAHAN NG MGA BABAENG NAGSUSUMIKAP sa PARADISE (SBN-PARADISE).

Screening Process for PNP Personnel

Vice Mayor's Conference Room, Legislative Building, General Santos City (March 23-25, 2011)-
       One-on-one interview with the applicants on the 1st Semester CY 2011 PO1 Recruitment Program for the City of General Santos which has been alloted by the Philippine National Police with forty five (45) slots to augment its police personnel.

The City Vice Mayor was designated as the Chairperson of the Ad Hoc PO1 Screening Committee pursuant to Executive Order No. 009, Series of 2011- An Executive Order Creating Committee for PNP Personnel in the City and Defining its functions.

     The Ad Hoc Screening Committee convened on 23-24 March 2011 to deliberate on the qualifications and conduct the interview for Seventy Two (72) prospective police recruits to fill up the PNP Attrition Quota for General Santos City. Upon review of the documents submitted and individual interview, 50 applicants or 69.4% got an average of 75 and above while 22 applicants or 30.6% got an average below 75. The committee found the following to have complied with the minimum standards for appointment into the police service.
      The ranking was based on the sum of folder rating and interview rating.

Feeding Program_Barangay Buayan

BARANGAY BUAYAN, PUROK MINANGA, General Santos City ( March 27,2011)

The Office of the City Vice Mayor in partnership with RCR Foundation (Ronnel C. Rivera) conducted a Nutritional Feeding Program for the children of Purok Minanga. A total of 200 children participated in the said activity including the parents. A short program was also conducted to entertain the participants of the program. 

Barangay Ligaya Medical /Dental Mission and Feeding Activity

BARANGAY LIGAYA,  General Santos City (March 11, 2011)- The Office of the City Vice Mayor in partnership with RCR Foundation (Ronnel C. Rivera Foundation) conducted a Medical and Dental Mission as part of its outreach program. More than a hundred needy patients from different Puroks underwent medical check ups from the volunteer physicians. On the other hand, about 50 patients received tooth extraction from the volunteer dentists. More than a hundred day care students and malnourished children of the said barangay were treated to a healthy meal.
            There were about a hundred volunteers participated in the said mission which include the Barangay officials, Barangay health workers (BHW), midwives, Barangay nutrition scholars, Barangay tanods, Day Care center teachers, student nurses, youth representatives, and the doctors and dentists.
            Partner- agencies who made the medical and dental mission possible and succesful include the following; RCR Foundation Inc. (lead partner  organization), Sen. Manny Villar (for the medicines), Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP), RCR Youth Core, NDDU College of Nursing, Jescolars Academia International.

Turn Over Ceremony of New Classroom Building for SPED

       The City Vice Mayor participated in the turn over ceremony and gave a message to students and school officials of the Gensan SPED Integrated School Main campus in Brgy. San Isidro.
